The Importance of Monitoring Outside Airflow

This presentation was originally prepared by Jesse Showemaker of KMC Controls, inc.  It discusses the importance of ventilation air, the reasons to monitor ventilation air, and the technologies available to do said monitoring.

Brad is an MEP engineer with a degree in Architectural Engineering from MSOE University.  Brad worked as a contractor and consulting engineer until being hired in 2017 at Alliance Architects, where he now is an Associate Principal and Engineering Team Lead.  While Brad has only been working full time in MEP since 2006, but as a member of the 4th generation in plumbing and heating his family has long been active in the field.  Brad is the current Northern Indiana ASHRAE Chapter President, and sits on ASHRAE’s society level Communications Committee.
