Inflation Reduction Act - Tax Incentives
For November’s meeting Jacob Goldman will be presenting on how to apply incentives provided by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) tax. Signed into law in 2022, the IRA provides billions of dollars in incentives and grants for investments in the fields of clean energy, building design, and the environment. This bill focuses on combating climate change by helping the building industry take advantage of clean energy production and tax credits aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The IRA also provides tax credits for the installation of high efficiency HVAC equipment.
