BUILDING AUTOMATION APPLICATIONS AND ARCHITECTURE
Building Automation Systems (BAS) as part of the ASHRAE Guideline 13 are an essential resource for professionals seeking to standardize the design, documentation, and specification of Building Automation Systems (BASs) in HVAC applications. It provides a comprehensive framework that covers system architecture, hardware performance, and communication. However, there can be challenges for building owners when it comes to integrating new IT systems with different applications. Join us this month as we explore what is happening in the industry and how we can learn from these challenges to improve the BAS experience.
The session will touch on:
- Differences between IT and OT network
- Industry Trends and Design Considerations
- Challenges (staff and system integrations)
- BAS Applications
- Typical IP System Architecture
